Adjusting caffenol developer recipe for 16mm tri-x 7266 film

Post by The_kodak_kid »

I’m very new to developing at home. And I figured I should start with the non-toxic stuff first. I eventually plan on using the r9 bleach and etc centra....

In the mean time does anyone have a recipe for caffenol-c-m that I’d be able to use for 7266 16mm film? The recipe I found is for filmshooting on iso 100... is that the speed of 7266?

How would I adjust this recipe for the film I have??

Recipe for 1 litre Caffenol-C-M, means for medium fast 100 ASA films (adjust yourself for other quantities)

1. 1 litre water
2. 100 ml washing-soda or 54 gramms
3. 16 ml vitamin-C or 16 gramms
4. 160 ml coffee or 40 gramms

Look up the Massive Development Chart online, find a classic emulsion (not a tabular grain film) and adjust time for what you rate the film at. If you shoot at stock speed, just adjust your ISO 100 developing time for your ISO 200 film.
