Just do a search on it in these forums and you'll find all kind of info. I personally use either RenovexII or Edwal film cleaner. Both are fast drying and lubricate as well. I have a long 5' board that my rewinders are mounted on and use a cotton cloth to move the film through.
Some folks like isopropyl alcohol (doesn't lubricate), heck, I've even heard of some using Pledge!?
Here's a tip: I recently opened a 400' can to clean it and inside was a note that read: "This film is probably in the most fragile shape. I cleaned it and hit it with a shot of WD40". YIKES.
