Troubleshooting Bauer C107XL

I got a Bauer C107XL from a thrift store the otther day and everything seems to work accept for when i press the trigger nothing happens.
All I hear is just a faint click everytime i press it down.
Just wanted to know if this is a common problem and if it would be to try and fix.
