I hope so too, it's such a valuable resource, it's been off or a few days.

There is at least one time where it was gone a few days then came back before. I wouldn't be too worried yet.

It's not back yet - this seems to be the longest it's been gone.

I want to contribute to get super8data.com up and running again.
Contacted the owner of this site (Carlos Pradera), but no reaction yet.

As an alternative, you can use: http://www.van-eck.net/itable.php?lang= ... &type=none

Yeah, I'm starting to get nervous. I did save a very small portion of it here though. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 883&type=3

If anyone has a copy of the site or can get in touch with the owner, I would be happy to put a mirror of the site here.

Let me know.

Seems like the domainname remained unpaid for.

No wonder people give up as costs go on and everybody uses your website as a free cut-and-paste source for selling cameras.

Still plenty to read here:
https://web.archive.org/web/20150327100 ... 8data.com/

But it ought to get mirrored :)
Kind regards,

I'll give a call to Carles tomorrow and I'll let you know.

Andreas, your mirroring offer is quite nice. I'll tell him about it :)

Looks like Wittner bought the domain name. The domain registrant is also the same as the one for Wittner's own site.

Smart move by Wittner. The domainname has so many links from all kind of websites.
Now all that traffic goes to Wittner without any effort spent.

Super8data really dropped the ball. How difficult is it and how much does it possibly cost to keep up a .com domain?
And then of such popularity. Even with the low advertising rates of these days making some money of it should have been as easy as pie.
Kind regards,

Same thing happened to ikonoskop. As soon as they folded someone who does repairs took the domain

Is the site gone? And all the pictures? The archives don't seem to keep the pictures.
