Now any of you in any country outside the UK can have a PM, with our compliments; his name is Gordon Brown!

Isn't Nigel still in Turkey? K2 basecamp maybe? I know he was headed there this summer for a documentary, but I don't remember for how long.

I believe his last post said he was going to Turkey. Here's the deal. I suppose I can still find a DP who is willing to use film, but they are fewer and fewer these days. I'm in Los Angles--isn't Nigel too? Anyway, I want someone to film a family thing--with friends-- who won't be intimidated by using my Bolex H8 Rex 4 DS8 with a widened gate using my last 2 precious rolls of DS8 Kodachrome, but I won't film it myself since it is my father's funeral. One problem is I don't have any series V filters (85 filter). Tiffen doesn't make them anymore. That aside, Looking for a DP/operator for a couple of hours, services pending at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.

Wade,

Sorry to hear about your loss. As far as I know, Nigel still lives in Seattle. From what I gather, he's currently in either Pakistan or Turkey, but I don't know when he plans on returning to the States.

Thanks for the condolence and info. I'll have to get some old guy from tinseltown to do it.

I'm back...

I was actually in Pakistan and not Turkey. It was a great trip. Wow, 6 weeks of not drinking!! That was the worse part.

Good Luck

Welcome back. Don't they consume alcohol in Pakistan? Or were you working 24/7?
