Super 8 burglary

Post by Actor »

It seems like someone entered my house and helped themselves to about 1/3 of my collection of DVDs and VHS tapes. Nothing else was taken. It's as though they took the time to pick and choose what they wanted. They took Patton, Dirty Harry, Casino Royale, War of the Worlds, Lord of the Rings, etc.

The odd thing is that among their selections they took every super 8 feature I had: Jet Benny, Lost Tribes, Sleep Always, Bleak Future. They did not take Forever Evil or El Mariachi but they're 16 mm.

Egads, so sorry to hear...but um...

how'd you land the 16mm print of El Mariachi? I've been looking for full prints of a ton of movies I've wanted to see with minimal luck (did find a 35mm print of Black Hole tho, ticked off I couldn't grab it at the time).

It's a DVD. I meant it was originated on 16mm, not super 8. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

A good thing that you have such an odd collection, hit the local pawn shops I'd say, and let us all keep an eye out on the lists like ebay and craigslist for the titles.
