Post by citizendanny »

I almost forgot...Fuji single 8 is for regular 8mm cameras, not for use in super 8 cameras? So I can use fuji single 8 film in any regular 8mm camera? :D

Wrong :!:

8mm, or Normal 8, or Regular 8, or Double 8 is a film format which only fits in Regular 8 cameras. It comes in open spools.

Super 8 consists of a cartridge format that only work in Super 8 cameras.

Single 8 consist of another type of cartridge format that only work in Single 8 cameras.

Anyway, once developed, Single 8 and Super 8 film are physically identical, so they can be seen using the same projector.

But do not confuse Single 8 with Regular/Double/Normal 8. They are completely diferent.
