Lesson learned the hard way

Post by egdinger »

Moral: Always label the rolls of film you send off for processing!

The story: This is the first film that I had to shoot for film class. It had to be short, only 2-3 rolls, we got lazy (and it didn't get drilled into our heads) and didn't label the rolls of film with a # or the content. Well I get a call from my partner and there has been some kind of problem and one of our rolls got lost (destroyed?) . We don't know which one it is, so we can't re-shoot until we find out, Waisting a week of production time.

On the upshot we only lost one roll, some of the other groups lost all of their footage. I really do wonder what happened, anybody know of anything weird going on at alpha-cine?
