Filimo 16mm camera powered motor rewiring question

I have a question about a Filmo 70 camera electric motor.

A broken XLR power connector is featured on mine. No big deal as no modern XLR will fit on it anyway. However, I want to solder a new connection to the wiring to get it working.

As shown in the below photo pins 1 and 2 are wired. Which is positive voltage? Which is ground?

Both are wired into the motor with black wire which does not help me.

Please note that this is NOT the modern pin numbering configuration and no new female XLR will connect to it.

For future reference 2 is voltage and 1 ground. 3 open.
