Steve's Cine Service Eyemo Modification

Post by habibrobert »

Hello everyone,

I'm really new to this forum, so sorry if this question has already been asked. I was recently given a Steve's Cine Service modified Eyemo 35mm camera. The catch is... its not working (as in the motor does not power on). I was wondering if there are any places in the US or in Canada that work on such modified cameras or should I pretty much consider this a hopeless case?

Thanks!

Can't help per say, but maybe posting at cinematography.com would help. They have a 35mm sub forum, as well as B&H. Might be better to post in the 35mm.

I talked to Steve about three years ago and he was considering taking on a couple projects and repairing some cameras but he had sold many of his tools and wasn't sure if he really wanted to come out of retirement. Check the fuse on the camera first, it could be as simple as that.
