Canon Scoopic 16 batery recelling

I just got the old Canon Scoopic 16 (Not hte 16m). Canon Zoom Lens C16E
13-70 1:1,6 no. 39703.
I don’t know so much about this camera got it for around 100 USD with a nice bag, charger, 2 batteries, orange filter and some more. It looks to be in nice condition.
It was included 2 batteries in it but both are almost dead......
The camera runs for 5 sec after full charge.
I did open the battery and it is 2 cylinder batteries with a diameter of 25mm and a length of 44-45 mm. Yuasa 120 Gas thigh Nickel Cadmium.
I did read that it would be possible to replace both of them with 10 AAA rechargeable batteries.
I did find this one that would fit but don’t know if it would be good for the propose.
What would you recommend?
