Misaligned film transfer

Post by camera8mm »

I have a super 8 sound film print of a travel film. I DO NOT have the original.
The print has an error where is was duped in a misaligned gate or film. On playback, I cant get the framer to show an entire picture or frame, it will show 3/4 on one part and at the bottom the reaming top half.
Is there anyway to transfer the film or this film no good.

I assume you know how to adjust the framing on the projector - using the frameing knob? Just thought we should start with the most obious thing.
I run Nano Lab - Australia's super8 ektachrome processing service

Anyone with a linescanner should be able to adjust for this.

I think a scanner like the Goldeneye should be able to handle this. I'm sure we can handle it with our FDL Quadra.
