Anyone here use sound from a youtube vid for your film?

I was just wondering if anyone here doesn't bother bringing sound equipment to the event they want to shoot, but instead rely on a strangers youtube vid that gets posted later of the same event? Be it a concert, a football game, a demolition derby or whatever. If you do this, how do you do it?
