Beaulieu 4008 ZM II eye cup adapter ring.

Hello, I already posted this message in the wanted section but didn't have much interest or views. I wonder if anyone has or knows of anywhere to obtain an adapter ring to use a new rubber eye cup with a 21mm opening. The spare eye cup I have has Beaulieu marked on it and it came as an extra when I bought the camera recently. The cup on the camera is slightly perished but has the metal screw mounting thread as part of the eyecup and cannot be separated from the rubber part. The spare eyecup has no metal ring, just an opening with a recessed groove. Any information would be appreciated. Stuart.

I don't have a camera in front of me to double-check but can't the spare eyecup be slipped in the recessed groove?
