Some 8mm pics I would like to share

Post by VideoFred »

I have a nice collection of old 8mm film by now :D
And I would like to share some pictures with you all.

Please right click on the links and open them in a new window.

1974, Maroc, probably on K40.
This film was shot by Rudy, a talended amateur filmer, with top equipment.

1958, Belgium, regular-8 anamorphic.
This film was shot by Raoul, he has given me his entire collection.

1966, Francochamps (Belgium) regular-8.
This is a flea market film, I do not know who made it.

1967, Super-8, Agfa.
From my own collection, our very first 8mm film.

All transfers where done on my system, then post processed with my Avisynth script.

Enjoy!

That is stunning! What is your equipment for scanning/telecine?
Pull that old movie camera out of the closet! I'm sure it's hungry for some film!

Thank you!

Because I'm averaring several frames, I make detail visible that otherwise would be lost in the grain.

Great work! I've got to research more into Avisynth.
We need more boffins like you!

They're saying great things about you over at Cinematography.com, as I'm sure you're aware.
