Sending Film to Andec for processing

Post by bakanosaru »

I'd like to send a bunch of carts off to Andec for processing but can't find any useful information on their website?
Do they have an order form on their website or do you just send your film with a note with your details on it?

Have you tried this link?

They do great work. Best transfers I've seen for E-64T. Andersen Tears uses them a lot:

Wish they were on this side of the pond, plus the VAT kills it for me!

If you are outside the EU you wouldn't pay the VAT.

i think the pdfs are mainly for info, the order form would probably be:
http://www.andecfilm.de/andecfilm-neu/s ... ung2e.html

but yeah, the webpage is kind of a mess.
++ c.

ps: if you need processing only you could probably just send the films, but i'd advise to shoot an email first to prevent possible errors.
infor for prices shipping and payment are found here:

Yes I think you're right, but that page doesn't have any info about processing.
I would guess it's just for purchasing stock.

You can email them in English, they normally reply fairly promptly in my experience.

I tried that. The email bounced back from info@andecfilm.de which was listed on the website.

But service@andecfilm.de hasn't bounce yet. :-|

Just a word for Andec....I've been using them occasionally for several years and they've always been great. The chap who owns the lab has occasionally posted here, and he speaks good English.

I tend to feel they are equal to Dwayne's for E6 processing, so I use which ever is cheaper. They do have the unique ability to make prints from super 8 neg film, and these are of outstanding quality. I've never had any trouble getting in touch with Ludwig at the lab.
The government says that by 2010 30% of us will be fat....I am merely a trendsetter :)

I usually just post my films with a note containing instructions, contact details, etc. - and then get a formal e-mail to confirm that it's arrived.

Their website is indeed a bit messy, but if you dig deep enough, you will find their price list for processing at http://www.andecfilm.de/en/e_s8_entw.htm

Andec is a bit pricey, but I can certainly second other people's views about the good quality they provide (both for processing and telecine).
