Pro8mm's Manual for the Beaulieu 4008

Post by Chris-B »

Here is a link the an alternative manual for the Beaulieu 4008 models
http://www.pro8mm.com/pro8_pdfs/Downloa ... 202007.pdf

It has some info the I did not know about from my original 4008 manual.

Like when shooting single frame -
If the plunger fails to retract it could fry you cameras motor!
Page 9

And -
Use an electrical remote release trigger when shooting over 24fps or your motor may burn out. (I'm not sure if this refers to run lock only)

By the way, the above are not exact quotes. But that is what they seem to say/mean.

Do these warnings apply to Pro8mm cameras or all 4008's.

A good reference to have and easy to print out and keep with your camera too, even if you have the original 4008 manual.

Happy shooting,
Chris.
