Does anyone know exactly where kodachrome super-8 and 16mm film is made? I mean an address. I heard it was made in the USA and packaged in France.
Thanks,

Don't worry about equipment so much and make your movie!

I think Kodachrome is made if France, Ektachrome in the USA. General Kodacolor sems to have a number of manufacturing points. Much of it in Europe was made in the UK but I do not know if the plant is still here.
Specialist films seem to be spread around so that there is not one specialist plant making every specialist film. They seem to share it out. Makes sense as it means there is generally something being transported both ways, probably in specialist containers.
It would not be a surprise to find there is subcontracting as well.
The real world of who actually makes what is quite fascinating.

New web site and this is cine page http://www.picsntech.co.uk/cine.html
I think Wahiba is correct, Kodachrome is made by Kodak-Pathe in France whereas Ektachrome 7240 definately says "made in USA" on all the boxes I have had.
I have a roll of K25 and K40 R8 dated 1978 and those boxes say Made In England !!!
Kodacolor DB 35mm film (far better than the more advanced Kodacolor Gold crap) is made in Portugal.
I don't think Kodak manufactures anything in the UK any more. I contacted Kodak about repairs to Ektasound S8 cameras and they put me in touch with people who used to work at their factories in Stevenage and Hemel...seems both factories are closed but the old employees are still around and Kodak UK is willing to help.
BTW didn't get anywhere with the camera, junked it.
