I just found this new product called VeeScopeLive that allows you to do live chroma key with a Mac and a DV camera. It also has a waveform monitor, vector scope, Zebra pattern, proc amp and supports DVCpro HD Cameras. The obvious use would be during a super-8 transfer to your mac to make sure you are capturing legal signals. You can also make your own version of the Matrix if you wish. It does not work with HDV yet but I emailed support and they say its in Beta test right now and will be released shortly. The kicker is it only costs $100 USD! Compare that to any similar products and you will see its very reasonable. Here is that link,
