This was my first official super 8 short shot in 2005 with a Canon 310xl and a Canon 814XLS on Kodachrome. The close-up shots and the sandwich making show was shot with the 310xl and the rest with the 814.
The film was transfered at Spectra Film and Video onto MiniDV. I unfortunatley didn't use any silks, so the lighting was kinda harsh. However, for K40 at night, the exposure is pretty good.
The film is called Man, Food, and TV. I posted this link a few years ago, but figured it might still be of interest.

If anybody is interested in shooting something with me, I live in Oakland, CA. I'm also the head of the East Bay Super 8 Collective - find the post in this forum. We are going to start production on a short Super 8 film shot with Tri-X on a B.6008 and a Canon 310xl with a wide angle lens. The film is going to be an episodic sci-fi about time travel. Not sure if anybody has seen this Super 8 Short:
This is the original short shot by Ethan Tabor called Hazmat Ghost. Our episodic series will be based off of its premise - Scientists discover time travel and send test subjects back in time to change the course of history. This is a great short shot in BW.
