I say go for it

Yea. regular8mm grows up to be 16mm. Bolex becomes Bolex unchanged save for sproket holes.
Perhaps 16mm could have a place of its own?
If I hadn't used Regular8mm cameras so much, I would not know how to use my Auricon Pro600 16mm SOF camera and NONRX lens system.

Stopmotion

I did that using a Bolex H8 with a cable release. It pushed the button for me, but the camera eventually did jam from lack of lubercation on the slideing bars of the switch. Martin hosts John. He provides a page or two for his supplier, John supplies the film, Martin winds it up onto magazines.

Regular8mm magazine load cameras galore

I used to be Regular8mm but now am ready for 16mm. The huge web devoted to the small format is only on CD backup now and not on line. However, I have a domain and web space again, so the picture is in the "Store" under "Regular8mm". http://www.16mmoviemaking.com/showimages/R8magc...

8mm magazine film source

http://members.aol.com/Super8mm/Super8mm.html

Martin Baumgarten.

This is possible to do yourself, load the 8mm magazines that is, if you have the magazines and instructions. Perhaps Martin will still do it.

I have one of the same cameras and have shot some magazine Cinechrome 25 with it.
