Re: Reloading single-8 carts with super-8
Maybe I was able, I'm afraid of not being able to do so well in the dark, and then use a precarious cartridge (risk of breakage, film block, scratches, etc.). If there is someone who does interests me very much! Gabe: what Single 8 camera that you have? :) Preparing the housing can be done in dayli...

Re: Fomapan in Super 8 cartridges?
I have been splitting my own Fomapan DS8 30 meters into 4 x S8 15 meters for years
I was just curious what the offer is.

Re: Could use a little help processing film as reversal.
I would think 'time' is a better friend than a 'beater' :) Just give it some time to dissolve. Mechanical mixing will cause a lot of turbulence and even bubbles thus exposing the liquid to a lot more oxygen than when it would have been left alone a while. I would recommend to prepare the baths a day...

Re: No news from Ferrania is not good.
Seems your posts are only about complaining about Ferrania or other companies. Barely ever something useful to others is presented. BTW Kickstarter funding is risk bearing. It only leads to promiss and not to an entitlement. When Ferrania produces masterrolls it may prove an undertaking in itself to...

Re: Pro8 Fuji S8
Here is some discussion about ordering. It is unclear if processing is included outside Japan. Mr Tak is confident that EU or German consumer laws do not apply to his selling to EU. http://www.filmvorfuehrer.de/topic/24075-neuer-provia-in-s8/ I don't think anybody has taken receipt of delivery. Japa...

Re: Could use a little help processing film as reversal.
Nice! So you don't return the fluids to bottles for longer term storage but just use lids for your tubs? When I do the tub method I worry about the cracks around the bathroom door letting in a little light, or the shower curtain that seems to very slightly glow in the dark. Do you ever have problem...

Re: a rare processing tank
Interesting. Curious how the film must be fed in and how it does not appear to be held in the groove by anything other than the curl and gravity.

Here is some info and sample footage:

It looks nice enough.
Curious to spend such little effort and imagination on such important test images.
A tripod is too much trouble too?
Only $80 incl processing for a beta test roll.
That should make filmers flock

Re: Battery of Beaulieu 4008 ZM 2 NOW
You can do it yourself. Disassemble the old battery--this is by far the hardest part, you will need some sort of spanner tool. If you have the 250mAh version of the dead battery you can recell with six 2/3 size AAA NiMh, the 1000mAh can be recelled with full size AAA. Connect all cells in serial an...

It can't be that bad. Everybody would return it immediately.
Tak sent you a broken one, fallen form the top shelf.

Re: Wonderful consumer scanner for Super-8 from the East
Mind the dimensions in the original Japanse website advertisement. It is compact and weighs next to nothing.
The jumpy example can't be right. It is totally unusable and would result in everybody sending back the thing.
