You ordered stuff from Wittner and got it?? Or was the order placed by your grandfather?
Arislan, you seem to be turning into an annoying forum troll.

Re: E64T MIXED RESULTS

Before you decide to end your Super 8 days if Cinevia is not your cup-of-tea, make sure you try Ektachrome 100D from Wittner If you have a decade or two to wait for your order, that is. Factor in a couple extra years between email replies from them. You must be talking about Kahl, not Wittner. Witt...

I see, so you are planning to shoot this in 2025, is that it?
Wittner usually delivers within 3-4 days.

Which will probably be about 20 years old by the time you get anything from Wittner.
Say, do you happen to be one of Kahl's employees?

Huh? What modern K40? Do you mean Wittnerchrome40? That's nothing but remaining K40 stock re-labelled.

Or are you referring to Kodachrome emulsions older than K40, such as K25 and KII? They both had the same color temperature as K40.

Ever Wittner's messages are getting somewhat confusing on this. They used to say after the deadline has ended, people can send their remaining K40 and their Wittnerchrome40 to them so they can send it to Dwayne's. But now they suddenly say they won't re-direct those films to Dwayne's but to the same...

I don't understand your recent Wittner-bashing lately. I myself just as well as people I know have had very positive experience concerning their customer service and reliability.

So basically, this movie is extremely valid evidence that video is not only far more expensive than film, it looks absolutely horrible even still if you'll pump more money in it than into any other movie before! ;)

Congrats Davta! That's exactly how I got into S8 as well. :)

I suppose your footage was pretty pinkish/magenta prior to telecining so your school even applied a basic color correction to it for free. All you need now would be some levels and saturation correction.
