Re: Apron Cine Film Processor (French)
Have not used it yet. Forgot how much but it was between £50 and £100. Bigger photo at http://i51.tinypic.com/11cdpb4.jpg I'll get some other detailed photos in a bit.. You have to wrap the undeveloped film along side the clear plastic film strip you see inside the tank. G 8) http://i53.tinypi...

Re: Double 8 processing options
I suggest you write (w/marker pen) or tape a note on the film can as to what kind of film stock it is. Lab's don't like cross processing or mucking up their soup lines. I've had several types of film re perforated, and one time I didn't know if the two cans of film in my camera bag were 50 or 500 sp...

Apron Cine Film Processor (French)
Happy New Year All You Filmshooters. This is for the filmprocessers:
Bought this a year ago at the http://www.thedarkroom.co.uk in Potters Bar, England, they don't have any more. Anyone ever seen or used a cine film processing tank like this?

I found the specs of the Quartz 2m and other Soviet 8mm movie cine cameras at Olexandr Kalynchenko's site which is saved on archive.org (When geocities shut down, they just deleted all their hosted sites!) Re: Sankyo CME 1100 repair
I know a camera repair man in the London, England part of Middle Earth.. He would charge a few wee weights of gold to fix it... Maybe £50 or £100 UK Pound Sterling. Speak to google.co.uk or google.co.uk maps with the words: "hendon london camera repair axco" Someone on super8wiki say...

Might as well find a Super 8 camera, or sell the Super 8 film stock on EBay and get some Standard 8 film.

Re: How can i respool CINE X-100 cartridge on a spare spool
Ditto. What he said... The film for your camera is "Regular 8" AKA (also known as) "Double 8" and Standard 8. The film is actually sort of 16mm film stock, with twice the sprocket holes specially perforated then loaded onto a 16mm wide spool. It runs through the camera twice. Fir...

Re: Editing software: any clear front-runner?
I use Apple Quick Time Pro Verson 7, (not Version 10), then Apple iMovie. I do mainly cut and paste, fade in and outs, transitions from and to black, audio mixes, volume ups and downs, titles, and import / exports to various formats. Other times it's Adobe Flash, with occasional filmstrips in Photos...

Re: clearing out the extras....
I'm interested in the the camera, specifically the battery holder... I've got a R10 but missing the battery holder. I had to construct one using polymorph and an external battery pack of AA's....
