Mohair's super 8 music video

I just ran across this vid online for the U.K. band Mohair. Good song. Check out the super 8 camera's, both in the frame and appears to be shot on also. K40 perhaps... both vids are worth checking out, but "Stranded" is the one with super 8: http://www.mohairmusic.com/ under the media/stan...

I checked self-taught. While I did get a degree in Media Production, most of the production classes were in video. I did take one 16mm class, but didn't shoot super 8 until after I graduated. Plus, even while I was in school, most of the knowledge I wanted to know about shooting film, as well as edi...

well, very soon i will be entering the world of negative film shooting. the main reason before was the cost for testing it out. i also like to hand process and project, so... but, i was fortunate enough to win a film package award for pro8mm. just got off the phone with the sales rep. my current pro...

I'll third Lenny Lipton's books. I was perusing "Independent Filmmaking" just last night. "the Super 8 book" is also very good. Two favs that i would add to the list... "essential brakhage" and "In the Blink of an Eye" - Walter Murch. Both are more asthetic th...

No, you do not have to attend the festival. And the cool thing about this will be that if you can't, you can watch the live webcast of the "Filmshooting International Online Film Festival" (FIOFF). The fest may have it's own website down the line, but as this fest is directly tied to this ...

okay, this is really going to happen. I have Andreas blessing... actually I'm sure we will be working closely together to put on the best fest possible. in a week or so we should have everything finalized, in the way of submission rules, deadline, etc. with that said, let me say this... this can be ...

So, curious if Nigel or anyone else went last night and would like to chime in? How was the event/presentation/program? I wouldn't mind a critique or overview of the fest. if you like.

Guess I didn't show enough interest...YES, I would like to submit one or two shorts. Cool, I got you down as a screening venue, but wasn't sure if you wanted to submit. Given kettuz situation (along with many others, I’m sure) and sooper8fan's sentiments of it being a good motivator, it woul...

Wow, maybe there isn't enough interest to do this. Could we have a show of hands, to see who would enter a film into something like this. so far, 1. sooper8fan 2. ccortez 3. Rick Palidwor 4. Maybe myself (I never put my work in programs I'm putting together, but this is kinda different). There would...

Yes, Pulse of Life would be a great addition. Maybe even the latest version if the editing ever gets done  . Also, half (at least) of the money made at the door of these screenings would go to this website as a donation.
