Re: Keystone 16mm cameras
I've got one and its single perf, You could file at the gate because there's no zoom lense on it, so yes.. Sometimes film gets tangled in mine, but when it doesn't it'll produce a very decent image, don't think you'd know it from a k3

Re: 16mm processing prices
a film co cop in London charges 8 pounds to its members and 20 to its non members, so I'd say if you hit around 20 you'd be competitive in London - they don't do by hand though so the results are always really clean but you're right "commercial" processing is expensive. I've seen it under ...

Re: arri 16 sb viewfinder problem
i forgot to mention, I'm in London, UK edit: after additional testing, if I screw the viewfinder assembly in all the way, and then look through with the lenses not fully pressed into their mounts, I can get a clean image I guess its looking like the lenses are in fact messed up, how much am I lookin...

Re: arri 16 sb viewfinder problem
Hi all, thanks again for the suggestions, yes I do see "something" through the viewfinder, which is a blurry version of what I would expect to see, yes. If it is the lenses thats unfortunate, as I'm sure they're incredible expensive to realign, and I bought the whole set for just over 100 ...

I'm 99.99% sure I'm putting the lenses on correctly I mean how hard could it be ? lenses are wide open yes, can't seem to get any frame lines though. This ...

Re: krasnogorsk newbie help cant get it to run
incase anyone ever has this problem, I've fixed mine by taking off the lens and forcing the shutter a bit to rotate while depressing the trigger button, I think some grease had just gunked up and hardened, it worked perfectly after just pushing it a little bit

Re: krasnogorsk newbie help cant get it to run
when the trigger button is depressed, the single frame button on the back shows some motion as well, like if you put your finger there you can feel it moving
does this indicate anything to anyone ?

Re: Has video gone too far? (48fps Hobbit!)
I watched the trailer after reading this thread, while I find that it doesn't look too bad for the most part as long as there isn't a lot of movement, its the scenes where even a modest amount of movement like someone pulling a sword out of a sheath etc look extremely silly. Too bad, I bet most peop...
