My 514XL is noisy, too. Must be from the construction. When I got my 1014XL-S, I was shocked how quiet it ran. Every other movie camera I had were noisy.

Bell & Howell had this system...Auto-8. I often see new Auto-8 cartridges and projectors on eBay. I believe they never took off. I'm sure there's a focusing knob. The knob will rotate the whole lens barrel. Does it have a zoom lens?

I don't hear of a projector lens going bad by itself. Is it clean?

This clip is a little dizzying, but it's in focus and it does accurately show how well the colors look on R25N. Yemi shot it in anamorphic too, which is quite interesting. I'm really glad Canon made a Single-8 camera. Now I gotta get me one! Are they popular on eBay? The exact opposite! They are almost impossible to find...(In europe). Yes, it only comes in 24 and 200 ASA. But the thing is the carts are easy to reload, so some people load the carts and sell them with other stock. I think there is a Japanese website that sells B&W. Fujica Single-8 cameras are the only cameras that use single-8 carts. I'm selling some equipment...

I want to expirement with the Fuji's Super 8mm stock.

Do they only offer two films - the ASA 25 and 200 or do they offer more than those two?

Is Fujica(sp) the only movie cameras that can use the Fuji's single-8 cartridges?

Agfa's color palette are slightly paler, and gives a less bluish hue than Ektachrome does. The Afga also has less noticeable purplish-red hue overall than Ektachrome.

I can't find the other thread you mentioned.

I'd be happy to take them. I always have liked the Agfa's color palette.
