Ah I see. Well it is R25 for the underwater work then... though as the AX 100 does not use ttl metering (the meter is just below the lens) I might try some sort of ND0.3 set up over the lens - I've seen ND gel for sale before so a piece cut to the right size etc... I'm on the look out for a better s...

Thanks for the info Juergen I had assumed that since the AX100 manual says it can automatically read 50 asa, and this film is 50asa, then there would be no issues... So do I have this right - the Cinevia is notched at 25 ASA so will be overexposed by 1 stop - can I work around it by adjusting the si...

It was really 1 take as far as i could tell. Audio is dubbed apparently, leading many people to argue about to the extent to which it's 'real', how fast he was really going etcc... Pretty amazing/crazy piece of filmmaking anyway. Watch it with the sound off & mask off the road / road markings e...

What if you get meat instead of film?
Just send it back - tell them its underdeveloped and to stick it back in the E6 machine for another 20 minutes.

Anyway, aren't there specialist labs for developing rare film....

There is a couple of pulse cables for sale at http://www.super8camera-shop.com/shop/index.html Look under camera accessories - cables The one with the adaptors looks useful I think Nizo produced 2 types of pulse cable - one for 1 pulse per frame and one for 1 pulse per 4 frames (you can set the Nizo...

So my tokyo agent managed to procure 5 cartridges... will be arriving on a jet plane on 1st March. Woohoo, can't wait to whack it in the AX 100 and go chase the stingrays...

Are you trying to record new material, or merely rip off existing material? New material so you're right, I'm just a cheapskate (though that device Pedro mentioned sounds interesting). Still, I have lots of fun with the uher.. If the latter, please stop that, it's rude But not as rude as you, evide...

But I would rather look for a Nizo 4056/4080/6056/6080 since they don't need the rare "PX625"-battery Or a Nizo Pro. That 801m seems a bit steep, but it is worth what someone will pay for it I suppose. If it is in exceptional condition someone might go for it, but I doubt it, without bein...
