Re: Canon DS-8 wanted
I have one in chicago in the us.
I don't want to sell it.
I'd consider renting it out.

Re: Magazine Cameras
Its not that complicated to load a 8mm magazine camera with film. I think it goes to b wind. The film path is similar to how a double 8mm camera normally loads. Just use a darkroom.

eumig p8 b wind?
I recently acquired a eumig p8 phonomatic projector and the take up reel motion and the rewind are going in a top direction, almost like a b wind.
Is this how this projector operates?

Misaligned film transfer
I have a super 8 sound film print of a travel film. I DO NOT have the original. The print has an error where is was duped in a misaligned gate or film. Anyone know what the kodak 35mm film with super 8 perforations is used for?
They make (or made) 2 versions, one with a perf of 1-0 perforation, another with a 1-3-5-7-0 position.

Re: Music video - shooting with super 8
glad is this finally being solved.
why would you need to cut the audio on a picture edit anyway?
the picture would be shot, audio syncing on a non live music video isnt necessary, just use audio as a reference point.
on the final edit after the picture is cut, the full audio track would be laid down.

Re: how to know what speed you are shooting at on arri or r1
The arriflex s or st and beaulieu r16 have rheostats so the film speed is set on those.
the r16 has a 25/25 switch.
