Re: Canon 310XL and new Kodak 100D

Hi J.S. The 310XL will meter 100D correctly. It is cut like a 160T, but the notchless cartridge will bring push the internal filter pin in and set it to 100ASA. Changing the filter switch on the outside will have not set the daylight filter into position, the internal pin makes sure it cannot be dep...

Re: Dwayne`s

I mailed mine Tuesday as well. Paypal request received today. Krystal from Dwayne's emailed me telling me she was off Tuesday with the holiday and was catching up on emails yesterday. Order processed. Glad to have this forum to hear feedback with, thanks!

Re: Dwayne`s

I have experienced delays in getting film processed by them (three times now). It used to be I would mail them the film, and within the week I would get their "Dwayne's needs to get paid" email via Paypal, whereupon I'd pay and get a tracking number later that day or the next at most. More...

Vision 3 200T - In Super 8

Kodak just made the announcement...new Vision 3 200T available in all formats including Super 8!

Just phoned Kodak in NYC. It's been announced, but should have some in stock in about two weeks.

Re: Second Sample - 100D

My favorite moments are when you shoot something alongside those with videocamera's and they all turn to see what you're shooting with the second they here the motor whizzing.

Re: Second Sample - 100D

Perhaps the best cover would be to borrow some young kids (preferably your own) and then pretend to shoot film of them and simply aim the camera where you need and actually roll film. Just a thought. You know, look like a tourist. I do that all the time, but with my girlfriend standing just to the ...

Re: Second Sample - 100D

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm going to miss E-64T! I'm gonna miss 64T - but I knew I was gonna say that! :) Give it time Art, you are soon gonna find the perfect Cam/Stock combo and make some excellent films for us to enjoy on 100D! Saying that I didn't really have any issues with what you ha...

Re: Second Sample - 100D

Your 100D sample is OK ! Next step is buying a tripod and USING IT....... You try shooting in NYC with one. Aside from not wanting to look like a big fat DORK, the real reason are the cops...some of them will run the old "you need a permit" bulls--t, while others will look the other way. ...

Re: Second Sample - 100D

I wonder how 100D will look when using my Minolta Autopak 8 D-6? I plan to use a ND filter and keep the Fstops between 8 and 5.6. Also I always use a sky filter then came with the camera. I guess I will need to just shoot some film and see what happens. 64T always looked great with this camera. I w...

Re: Second Sample - 100D

Interesting test film, I too see a similarity to the old Sesame Street look. I'm looking forward to getting a chance at this film but I think it will be some time before I do as I'm well stocked on 200t, E64, Tri-X and Plus-X to last me the summer. Your work overall is very good and inspiring. I en...

Re: Second Sample - 100D

Hi Mike: I've heard of different lenses having different coatings and such, but never knew they affected color! Had I known this I would have gone with the Canon 1218, being my 814 is in the shop. The Nizo being contrasty may explain why I had a Plus-X I shot with it last winter that came back the s...

Second Sample - 100D

Here are the results of a second roll I tested with a Nizo S560 on automatic exposure. Colors are closer to what I expected.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm going to miss E-64T!

Have you tried this link?

They do great work. Best transfers I've seen for E-64T. Andersen Tears uses them a lot:

Wish they were on this side of the pond, plus the VAT kills it for me!
