I've been pretty happy with the new Vegas Pro 10. Still makes use of all the processing power and ram you can throw at it and now it uses NVIDIA CUDA video cards to cut AVCHD codec render times big time. I have a Bell & Howell Filmosound 16mm projector. I have changed the light source to a diffused super bright LED and the optics are perfect but I get the flicker.

Has anyone swapped out the A/C motors in these for a DC motor? If so, what motor did you use?

It's been about a year or more since I've had time to peruse the forum. Just wanted to say hi and I am happy to see the forum alive and well. Hopefully work will slow down enough in the next couple months so I can shoot some fun stuff with my Nikon S8 and post it up.
