Re: SOM Berthiot reflex 17-85

The 90 degree viewfinder version of pan cinor 85-2 was designed for bolex h16 , the c mount of filmo 70 is a little different. It usually will over screwed on filmo. But the earlier 45 degree -“dog leg” version is possible to change the angle of the viewfinder , so it will fit to any c- mount camera...

Re: Kodak prices

In fact the vision series negative film was always more expensive than ektachrome 100d. The price became creazy after the 100d was discounted. in 2010, the price of 100d s8 cart was 12 Euro exclude processing, if order from Kodak Belgium directly. Vision 2 200t s8 cart cost 22 Euro, So in this way, ...

Re: The return of Ektachrome - CES 2017

So, they are going to make a market testing... Well, the first question will be the price...
I wish the price is not much higher than before...
The price of the last super8 100D I ordered from kodak was for 12 EUR.

Re: Hello from FILM Ferrania!

Is there any news about the development of Ferrania's color reversal film? As I know that the black and white film and color reversal film couldn't be manufactured on the same production line. The production line of P30 can't produce the 100 asa color reversal as the original project. Maybe P30 in 3...

Re: Kern switar 10mm 1.6 works on both reflex and non reflex?

Well, my other two non reflex lens: yvar16mm 2.8 and switar 25mm 1.5 even couldn't be mounted on reflex body,
which means their rear elements go deeper to the mount than RX lenses, so I am in doubt that the old rx version of 10mm 1.6 doesn't have the "RX" written on the lens...

Re: Kern switar 10mm 1.6 works on both reflex and non reflex?

The rx and non rx has different flange focal distance, how could a lens work on both flange focal distance?

Kern switar 10mm 1.6 works on both reflex and non reflex?

I bought a Kern switar 10mm 1.6 lens on ebay. It didn't write "H16RX " as my other rx lenses.
However it is strange that it could focus correctly on both of my reflex and non reflex H16 cameras.
Is there anyone knows about more the version and usage of this lens?

Nigel wrote: Tue Aug 01, 2017 5:21 am Why not just forget about the internal filter all together?

It is probably dirty, crusty and who knows what...

Just use screw on filters?

Good Luck
Because the filter will be always on if don't insert a card into the slot.

Re: Kodak rumors - new film stocks and hardware

Well, it is not April yet, so I don't think it is a jok:))
I remember that before Kodak discontinue 100D, their super 8 100D cartridge costs 12 EUR. and at super 8 NL it costs 22 EUR including processing.

Re: Hello from FILM Ferrania!

Whatever Ferrania do, it won't please everyone. Quite right. No company makes a product that pleases everyone. Such a product would be very boring, I think... We will obviously make films with their own unique character. This character is a result of our staff, our machines, our knowledge base, our...
