Hmm. Maybe the rewind mechanism for an old editor is the only thing available out there! Sounds like it may work.

Good Rewind Mechanisms

Okay, anyone know of a good source for rewinding mechanisms that I could mount on a 4' board? Or can you purchase these things any more? I have a very old one that has a 'tower' on each end. It would be perfect, except the cranks are missing to wind the film!? Any other suggestions for efficient way...

Hi All, I'm interested in this thread too. However all of the links seem to point to "what" to buy to clean film, and now "How" to clean film as the per the original post. Can I use an old cotton t-shirt? How long does the film need to dry before winding it up on itself? How much...

Thanks Jeff! Just what I was looking for. So to summarize, it sounds like the best of both worlds would be to use Dodcap to capture and adjust pulldown, and then bring the resulting .avi into Premiere to do the editing? Pulldown... what a strange name to describe it. By the way, I use the Canopus li...

Dodcap, Premiere, Pulldown and You.

I was looking at the Workprinter discussion going on and wondered what it is that Dodcap does that Premiere doesn't?

Also, the .pdf on Dodcap talks about pulldown. What exactly is it and what does it do? Does Premiere offer pulldown?

Thanks in Advance.
