this company Amvona does the same with their studio equipment. Pretty deals can be made with their stuff, but the shipping cost is always unreasonably high.

he notified Kahlfilm, but they say they will first make a negative out of, what i presume is, the reversal film.

it means it will automatically select a shutter speed given a particular light level. If you turn it off you can select the shutter speed yourself (1/4 - 1/4000s)

fyi, you can also calculate it yourselve, by taking the square of the focal length of your lens and then dividing it by the f-stop multiplied with the circle of confusion. so for a 50mm lens and a f/8 and a circle of confusion of 0.001 inch: First make sure everything is in inches or mm's.
