Thanks guys. Worked like a charm, on the Bauer that is. I don't know what I was doing wrong before. I've only tried this once using film. It was with my Nizo. Even though the split image appeared to be out of focus the whole time, the only part of my subject to be in focus on the developed film was ...

Getting ultrawide lens to work?

I while back I purchased an "ultrawide lens type NIZO I". I tried to fit it on my "Nizo S56"(non-macro capable). In a previous topic, someone stated that this ultrawide lens is only to be used on Nizo's with macro capabilities. I also have a macro lens attachment for my S56 and w...

Morse G-3 processing tank.

Does anyone have or know were I could get a manual for a Morse G-3 processing tank. I found a manual on this site for a Doran processor, but I not sure if they are similar or not?
Thanks, Simon.

I own this particular camera among my collection of super 8's. This is one of my best cameras, a real workhorse, with quite alot of features and a pretty decent lens for what little amount of money one can buy these for.
The filter thread size for this camera is 49mm.

From what I've been told by several people including my father(chemist), is that memory is not an issue when charging and discharging NiMH batteries. You can recharge them however often you like regardless of the amount of power left from the previous charge. Look for NiMH batteries with 1500mah or ...

In Toronto, I was told by several kodak retailers that I can take my K40 carts to "Shoppers Drug Mart" who do mass shipments to Kodak for a variety of services. They tell me it's best to take it there for a shorter turn around time. I went to a Shoppers Drug Mart to inquire. The Photolab m...

K40 carts, with no mailers?

I've got a couple of old Kodachrome 40 cartridges(processing included) without mailers and I wish to see what's on them. Can I just send these to Europe in a regular envelope and hope that they will process them, or do I specifically need the kodak mailers to send them? Also can I put two carts in o...

Thanks,

I just picked up my replacements yesterday. It took Kodak 2 weeks to re-decide if they were going to replace my $300. worth of 7240 with a fresh non-jitter batch that just came in to Canada. Mine 7240's never had an expiry date printed on them. The 7 digit # printed is infact lower then my faulty ba...

Absolute last question. I forgot to ask about the battery. I don't know when these scoopics were made, but I'm wondering if depending on the age of the scoopic, will the battery still have any life left in it after a full charge? Are these batteries hard to come by and can I substitute a different b...

Thanks to all for the info. Since reading your replies, I've been doing a bit of research on Scoopics. Just a few more questions to set me on my way please. Does this camera have an interchangable lens mount(c-mount)for adding different lenses? Does this camera also have a standard thread for a trip...
