nizo 800 night time lapse
Does anyone have any experience with shooting time lapse at night with the Shutter kept held open? ie, which settings will give you the best exposure before overexposing the image? just curious... 'cause i'm going to do some tests tonight.. jusetan p.s. from my experience, shooting at the 6fps inter...

i totally agree with you and enjoy taking apart my cameras to understand their functions... however.. the 1014 is pretty difficult to get apart... There is a lot more electronic parts to it than any other camera that I have serviced before. Also, I don't really know what type of lubrication to buy, ...

TORONTO! who else?
hey, I know there are some people here from Toronto and I'm in need of finding a place to do a 1014 camera lube/repair. Does anyone have any experience with any places around the city or can recommend somewhere I can get this done? jusetan ps maybe we could all hook up sometime and share some of our...

hey thanks!
I've gotta try to find a place in Toronto that can do the lubing for me.
Anyone know of any shops in Toronto?
And I agree with you, the optics on the 1014 are great!... My Nizo S800 doesn't deliver nearly as beautiful of an image.

thanks for all the responses! I have tried new batteries. ...tried bashing the camera. ... tried removing the gate and checking for clogs The advance claw does not move when running the cam without cart. Problem happens with and without a cart. The footage counter has been reset. I _think_ it may be...

no no no dwaynes!
if you look at the end of your film reel you will most likely notice puncture marks in your film. This is what happens when you get your film processed at Dwaynes. I have had 3 rolls of K40 come back with similar puncture marks at the end of the footage causing what seems like a focus issue at the e...

i've heard and dealt first hand with the panasonic. If lit well, looks great but the one flaw i've had with the camera is that it does a strange 4:1 pulldown and interlaces the frame in a strange manner. i've not operated the camera, only worked with the footage from one, maybe there is a setting? F...

just spoke with the transfer house... they seem to have a very good system there.. DOUG has made specific modification to his rank scanner to give a much sharper image transfer for super 8. Not sure if i should spend the extra cahs on getting a digi beta xfer or if i should just stick with the min-d...

Cinepost offers a pretty good rate, 135/hour on their scanner. and their work seems pretty good (it's quite a bit cheeper than flying spot which is $300/hour last i checked). their service seems pretty similar, any other opinions? The transfer station seems like they would do a great job, but i've n...

EXCLUSIVE: Great for developing b/w film stocks. Not really impressed with the transfer that i got of ...

hey hey, i am planning on doing my transfer at flying spot using their rank scanner (supposed to give fantastic results), however i am still a student and would love to find somewhere cheaper to get it done, but can still get the quality that my project needs. here's what i'm looking for, and maybe ...
